2005 British Flat Racing Awards by BHB

For the third consecutive year, the British Horseracing Board held a must attend event for flat racing. Following an opening speech by Richard Caborn MP, UK Minister for Sport, the awards where given in an Oscar-worthy ceremony supported with exciting video coverage from the winners.

The award for the Horse Of The Year was for Motivator, the Epsom Derby winner. Owned by a race club, a great number of Motivators owners gave acte de presence. Controversial, but impressive star jockey Kieron Fallon accepted his award for best jockey.
